Cory Matthew: Professor in Agronomy(Retired); Honorary Research Fellow, School of Agriculture & Environment. He is an editor of the Journal of Grassland Research now. He worked at Massey University, New Zealand, as a grassland scientist from 1984 until his retirement as Professor of Agronomy in 2018. He grew up on a 165-ha New Zealand sheep farm with 900 breeding ewes, and prior to joining Massey University, spent 5 years working on New Zealand farms and for the Malaysian Department of Agriculture. Most recently his specializations have included forage plant improvement and farm systems optimization using metabolic energy budgeting to assess the balance between feed supply and demand in diverse farm systems.
